We have achieved the re-accreditation of BS 18477

South West Water is committed to treating customers fairly, reflected in our culture, strategy, and maintenance of the BS 18477 certificate to 2025. The BSI (British Standards Institution) Accreditation is designed to help our organisation identify consumers who could be vulnerable or disadvantaged and to adapt our services to be inclusive and accessible to all.

Vulnerability can affect anyone at any time. All consumers are different, with a wide range of needs, personal characteristics, health, abilities, and skills. It is important for us to provide a fair, flexible, and accessible service, digitally inclusive with an empathic approach.

 

We were re-accredited with the certificate on 11/02/2022 for another year, illustrating our continued achievement of providing an inclusive service.
